    Dublin Marathon

    This annual marathon first took place in 1980, and now attracts around 10,000 worldwide runners. Most of the runners come from overseas and the run offers them a flat run with no more than 50 meter altitude, great views of the city centre buildings, parks, squares and cheering spectators.

    Tollwood Winter Festival

    Around one million visitors come to celebrate the Toolwood Winter Fesatival each year. This multicultural celebration contains a Christmas market with over 200 stalls selling international handcraft and organic food from around the world, free shows and ends with a New Year’s Eve Party.
